BIO
três is an ensemble featuring Lau Larenas (Mexico), Millicent McFall (US), and Henry Galli (Brazil). The project began in Spain right after the three completed their master’s programs at Berklee Valencia and decided to bring their musical connection to the stage.
três brings together the essence of each one’s roots in a powerful acoustic format. Through thoughtful original arrangements, the group blends Lau’s Mexican song tradition, Milli’s classical and multicultural background, and Henry’s distinctive Brazilian pulse.
Their live performances stand out for both their musicianship and authenticity. três delivers a warm, organic, and direct sound that reflects their origins and the music they love to create together.
LAU
Lau Larenas is a singer, songwriter, and vocal arranger from Mexico City. She studied music from a young age and earned a BA from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she directed the campus ensemble and received a national award for her achievements. She completed a PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy with Merit at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Master’s at Berklee College of Music Valencia, specializing in live music and earning the Peer Recognition Award. Lau has performed extensively, competed in The Voice Mexico, and worked as a backing vocalist, vocal arranger, and composer for various artists. She is also active in the music business, bridging creative and strategic work, and her music is deeply inspired by her maternal family’s Mexican musical heritage.
MILLI
Millicent McFall is a pianist, arranger, and composer from Seattle, Washington. She has won multiple awards, including Audience Favorite and Teachers’ Favorite at the 2019 Seattle International Piano Competition, and has been a finalist in several international competitions. Millicent has performed in venues such as Benaroya Hall, Elgar’s House, Merkin Hall, Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía, and Walt Disney Hall, in Germany, the UK, Croatia, Spain, and the US. She works across genres including classical, jazz, Latin jazz, and pop, and her compositions combine classical and modern styles. Millicent holds a Master’s in Contemporary Performance from Berklee Valencia, a Master’s in Music Business from NYU, and a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Academy of Music, and aims to promote equality in the music industry through her performance, teaching, and composition.
HENRY
Henry Galli is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, producer, and music educator from Lençóis Paulista, São Paulo. He specializes in Brazilian music, jazz, and improvisation, developing a personal style that honors Brazilian roots with a contemporary vision. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music (Guitar) from Universidade do Sagrado Coração, studied at Tatuí and Souza Lima conservatories, and earned a Master’s in Contemporary Performance and Production from Berklee Valencia. Henry has performed with big bands, orchestras, and jazz trios alongside musicians such as Adylson Godoy and Pablo Dell’Oca Sala, in venues including the Teatro of the Reina Sofía School of Music, Valencia, Barcelona, and Madrid. His work blends Brazilian song, jazz, and instrumental composition with improvisation, rhythm, and melody, offering expressive and contemporary interpretations of Brazilian jazz.
